Dr. Zahava Miller

Personal Statement:

“A person’s a person, no matter how small.” ~ Dr. Seuss (Horton Hears a Who!)

Like Horton the elephant, I went into the field of pediatrics to provide children with support, encouragement, and protection from harm. But it has become so much more to me than that. I strive to be an excellent educator, to provide that extra boost of self-confidence and esteem that every child and adolescent needs, to be the interpreter of infants, unable to communicate through speech, and to provide all children with the necessary tools to succeed as the best version of themselves. I look forward to working with you, the caregivers, to achieve these goals.

Dr. Miller is a board-certified pediatrician and Fellow of the American Academy of Pediatrics. She graduated from Brandeis University with Honors followed by a year of research in pediatric leukemia at the Center for Childhood Malignancies at Tel-Hashomer. She received her medical degree from the Technion’s Faculty of Medicine where she volunteered working with children with behavioral and learning disabilities. Dr. Miller completed her pediatric residency training at The Children’s Hospital of SUNY Downstate Medical Center during which time she participated in a community-based healthy habits and obesity prevention program for school-aged children.

Dr. Miller is thrilled to be a part of Global Pediatrics and loves working with such an amazing team of people in providing the best healthcare to the families and children of New York.
